American Battery Solutions Inc. (ABS) is seeking a Production Operator - Entry for the 2nd shift in Springboro, OH. The role focuses on assembling battery pack systems while following safety rules, work instructions, and quality standards.

You will support efficient production by reducing waste, maintaining equipment and work areas, and contributing to continuous improvement activities, with emphasis on meeting schedules and complying with PPE and SOPs.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic problem-solving capabilities for troubleshooting issues in the production environment.
• Ability to understand process changes, updates, and related work instructions within work areas.
• Focuses on quality, continual improvement, initiative, safety, teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products to customer requirements and company goals.
• Complete safety training and comply with PPE requirements.
• Learn takt, cycle time, throughput expectations and standard work for each operation.
• Follow SOPs and documented processes for assigned tasks or stations.
• Reduce rework and scrap through understanding quality requirements.
• Participate in safety activities and contribute ideas for 6S or ergonomics.
• Meet schedule, attendance, and punctuality expectations.
• Support weekend and off shift work as required.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as requested and maintain reliable attendance.
