Job summary

Citigroup's Universal Banker is an entry-level role supporting sales, products and service activities within the customer service team at the Newbury Park branch. You will help foster customer loyalty and contribute to increasing sales to individual clients.

The position emphasizes assisting with account openings, handling service issues, processing transactions, and driving compliant, risk-aware customer interactions.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in banking or customer service.
• Experience in Retail Banking or similar environment required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in line with bank policies.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve complaints promptly.
• Support branch sales/service activities through seminars, micromarketing, and campaigns.
• Adhere to operational controls to safeguard assets and comply with laws and regulations.
