Community Trust Bank is seeking a meticulous Banking Reconciliation Clerk to support branch accounting in Pikeville, KY. You will prepare reconciliations for general ledger accounts, deposits, and loan activity, ensuring the accounting system reflects correct transactions.

The role requires a high school diploma; teller experience is helpful. You will investigate discrepancies, coordinate with teams, and assist with month-end close while upholding compliance and data integrity.

Mansioni

• Prepares and monitors daily and monthly reconcilements of general ledger accounts to ensure accurate reflections of transactions.
• Prepares and monitors daily reconcilements of Accounts Payable, Cashier Checks, Interest Checks, and Loan Payoffs.
• Prepares and monitors daily teller cash and cash in transit reconcilements; validates teller balances.
• Understand General Ledgers & Subledgers and interfaces to identify discrepancies.
• Understand transaction codes for Loans/Deposits and how they balance.
• Research and report discrepancies; take corrective action.
• Coordinate balancing issues with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor branch cash advances for discrepancies; complete monthly reconcilement.
• Assist with corrections using tickets or PeopleSoft.
• Post general ledger entries to correct accounts.
• Follow up to ensure outages are corrected and ledgers balance.
• Support Month End Close process.
• Maintain sensitive information handling.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
