Job summary

Canyon AeroConnect is seeking a Service Technician I (Electronics/Avionics) in Arizona. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and modifications to avionics equipment in compliance with FAR Part 145 and FAA standards.

The ideal candidate has electronics knowledge, soldering skills, and the ability to read schematics. Onsite work with standard 40-hour weeks, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with electronics theory knowledge.
• 2-year technical degree or certified/equivalent experience in related field preferred.
• Surface-mount soldering skills are required or beneficial.
• FCC license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance and modifications on avionics equipment per FAR Part 145 guidelines.
• Read, interpret and perform maintenance from electronic drawings and documentation.
• Perform repair and rework using soldering per IPC J-STD specifications.
• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all work performed.
• Maintain workplace organization and participate in audits and calibration activities.
