Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Technician for Firestone Complete Auto Care. You will be part of a team servicing vehicles, with full- and part-time benefits available from day one, including tool program discounts and competitive pay.

Starting pay ranges from $13.20 to $19.80 per hour, with fair compensation practices and opportunities to pursue ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries and shock absorbers and inspect electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
