Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Arnold, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Firestone Complete Auto Care team. This entry-level position supports a dedicated service team, with full and part-time benefits starting on day one and opportunities for ASE certifications.

You will learn diagnostics and repairs for brakes, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical systems, perform oil changes, tire maintenance, and road-test vehicles. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
