Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking an entry-level General Service Technician in Seattle to support vehicle maintenance, oil changes, tire services, and DVIs. You’ll learn from experienced technicians and be part of a culture focused on quality work and customer safety.

You will handle routine tasks, follow procedures, and contribute to a clean, safe shop environment while growing your automotive career.

Qualifications

• Reliable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined and eager to learn.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services: mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance: fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repair orders accurately.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings through store channels.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE, and environmental requirements.
• Keep shop and customer areas clean and ready for customers.
