Sun Auto Tire & Service seeks an entry-level General Service Technician to perform essential maintenance tasks in a busy auto shop. You will learn tire services, oil changes, and basic vehicle checks while supporting experienced technicians and service staff.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and a willingness to learn as you build foundational skills for a long-term automotive career. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Reliable and safety-focused with mechanical aptitude.
• Willing to learn foundational automotive maintenance.
• Able to follow written procedures and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance, including fluids and filters.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repairs accurately.
• Identify safety issues and communicate findings to the supervisor.
• Keep shop and customer areas clean and organized.
• Assist with parts transport and shop duties.
