Sun Auto Tire & Service in Cypress, TX is hiring a General Service Technician. This entry-level role supports the store by performing essential vehicle maintenance, inspections, and keeping the shop clean and organized while learning foundational automotive skills.

You'll handle oil changes, tire services, and basic maintenance, plus Digital Vehicle Inspections and documentation. The position offers paid training, development opportunities, and a path toward advanced technician roles.

Competenze

• Entry-level role ideal for mechanically inclined individuals.
• Willingness to learn basic automotive maintenance and repair.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety standards.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license.
• Flexible schedule including weekends as needed.

Mansioni

• Perform tire services: mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repairs.
• Identify safety issues and communicate findings through proper channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable under supervision.
• Keep shop and customer areas clean and customer-ready.
• Transport customers and parts as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Work with technicians and service advisors and be coachable.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends.
