Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in San Marcos, TX is seeking a General Service Technician to support the store by performing essential vehicle maintenance, oil changes, tire services, and Digital Vehicle Inspections while learning from experienced technicians and store leaders.

You’ll work a flexible schedule, including weekends, with paid training, benefits, and growth opportunities toward higher technician roles within a values-driven, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined and eager to learn.
• Ability to follow procedures, safety standards and store processes.
• Must be 18+ years and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair order documentation.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE, and maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
