Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our Bridgestone Retail Operations team.

You will help diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes and tire maintenance, and road test vehicles, with full-time and part-time options and pay ranging from $13.20 to $19.80 per hour. Bridgestone is committed to fair compensation, day-one benefits, and ongoing training including ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
