Job summary

Goodyear's Entry Level Automotive Technician program offers hands-on training in one of our Auto Service centers. You will learn basic automotive services while delivering outstanding guest service. Experience isn’t required; we invest in your success as you invest in ours.

You will gain exposure to tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, and preventative maintenance, with shifts possibly including weekends. A valid driver's license and being at least 18 are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; automotive maintenance experience or training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services: mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filters replacement, and more.
• Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting and handling tires and wheels.
