Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) – based in Nashville, TN and part of Bridgestone Americas – is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will be part of a team servicing vehicles with full and part-time benefits available from day one, including a tool program discount and a pay range of $12.54–$18.81 per hour.

Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance, and conduct tire and battery work while road

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times; able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
