Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes, tire maintenance, and install batteries and shocks, with road testing as needed.

Pay range is $13.20 to $19.80 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental and vision from day one, paid vacation, company-paid ASE certifications, flexible schedules and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
