Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Peoria, AZ is seeking a General Service Technician for an entry-level, full-time role. You’ll perform oil changes, tire services, and basic maintenance while learning from experienced colleagues in a structured shop environment.

You’ll complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and documentation, identify safety issues, and work with service advisors to keep customers satisfied. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and eager to learn basic automotive maintenance.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety standards, and store processes.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance, including fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, and filters.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair order documentation accurately.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings through proper channels.
• Keep shop and customer areas clean and organized; assist with parts transport as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in ongoing training and development.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
