Job summary

Jiffy Lube International in San Diego, CA is hiring a part-time General Service Technician to service guests' vehicles and support a busy service center. You will participate in our training program to gain certification across services and build a solid foundation for a career in vehicle care.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays

Responsibilities

• Service guests' vehicles to high quality standards
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates; ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels; complete vehicle inspections
• Install oil drain plug and oil filter; perform routine maintenance
• Document all work performed on the repair order and report safety issues
