Jiffy Lube International is seeking a General Service Technician in San Marcos, CA. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and certification through an established program, with a focus on delivering high‑quality guest service and vehicle care.

The position provides a clear path for advancement within a team‑oriented environment. You will work with experienced technicians, learn service procedures, and contribute to maintaining a clean, efficient service center while supporting guests

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on-time guest care.
• Provide excellent guest service with clear vehicle communication.
• Keep the service center clean and presentable.
• Mentor junior/mid-level technicians.
• Check oil level and communicate with teammates.
• Ensure proper tire pressure and inflation.
• Inspect and refill fluids as needed.
• Complete vehicle inspections and document repair orders.
• Install new oil drain plug and oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Report safety issues to management promptly.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform manual tasks including lifting and bending.
