Job summary

Jiffy Lube International in Montclair, CA seeks a General Service Technician to service guest vehicles and uphold quality work and guest experience.

You will train through our program to gain certification across offered services, enabling career growth. This entry-level role emphasizes customer service, safety, and teamwork while maintaining a clean, organized service center environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Effective communication to interact with guests and teammates.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Keep the service center clean and presentable.
• Mentor junior and mid-level automotive technicians as needed.
• Check oil levels and communicate with teammates.
• Ensure proper tire pressure and inflate accordingly.
• Inspect and refill fluids as necessary and complete vehicle inspections.
• Document all work on the repair order and report safety issues to management.
