Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Alice, TX is hiring an Automotive Maintenance Technician to join a supportive shop team. This entry-level role trains you to service brakes, alignments, suspensions, oil changes, tire maintenance and electrical checks.

You will learn diagnose and repair basic automotive systems while enjoying benefits starting day one, including health coverage, paid vacation, ASE certification support, flexible schedules and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
