Job summary

The Maintenance Technician is an entry level position at Firestone Complete Auto Care within Bridgestone Retail Operations. You will be an integral part of a fantastic team servicing vehicles and learning how to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, from brakes to electrical work.

Pay starts between $12.54 and $18.81 per hour, with benefits from day one, on-the-job training, ASE certifications sponsorship, flexible scheduling, vacation and holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance, install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
