Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for Firestone Complete Auto Care. You will be part of a team servicing vehicles, with full-time and part-time benefits from day one, including a tool program discounts. Pay range: $12.54 - $18.81 per hour.

The role emphasizes learning basic mechanical tasks, diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, and performing scheduled maintenance, with opportunities for ASE certifications and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
