Job summary

Bridgestone Americas in Canton, OH is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician to join our Firestone Complete Auto Care team. You will be part of a fantastic crew servicing vehicles, with full- and part-time benefits starting from day one, including a tool program and ASE certifications.

The role offers hands-on automotive maintenance and repair responsibilities, with a focus on diagnostics, tire maintenance, and safety checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
