Rohrman Automotive Group in Lafayette, IN is seeking a dependable Sales Porter to help keep our lot organized and our inventory in top shape. This is an entry-level opportunity with training provided; you should be comfortable outdoors and eager to join a high-energy automotive team.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, parking, cataloging keys, moving vehicles to prep, maintaining lot safety and cleanliness, and supporting the team across locations.

Qualifications

• No automotive experience required.
• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Dependable, punctual and safety-minded with good attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stay active throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming vehicles by comparing serial numbers against invoices; document any damage or missing accessories on the delivery receipt.
• Park new and sold vehicles in designated areas to keep the lot organized and maximize space.
• Catalog and store vehicle keys; assign stock control numbers to incoming inventory.
• Move sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department as directed.
• Service stored vehicles as needed to maintain tires, batteries, and vehicle finishes.
• Operate all company vehicles safely, maintaining legal driving speeds on the lot and on the road at all times.
• Maintain lot safety and cleanliness in compliance with OSHA standards.
