Job summary

Rohrman Automotive Group is seeking a Sales Porter to help keep our vehicle inventory organized and our dealership lot running safely and efficiently. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to be part of a high-energy automotive team.

No prior automotive experience is required, and training will be provided. The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and a dedication to safety and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• No prior automotive experience required — we'll train you.
• Valid driver's license with a clean, acceptable driving record (required).
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded with a good eye for detail.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stay active throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming vehicles by comparing serial numbers against invoices; document any damage or missing accessories on the delivery receipt.
• Park new and sold vehicles in designated areas to keep the lot organized and maximize space.
• Catalog and store vehicle keys; assign stock control numbers to incoming inventory.
• Move sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department as directed.
• Service stored vehicles as needed to maintain tires, batteries, and vehicle finishes.
• Operate all company vehicles safely, maintaining legal driving speeds on the lot and on the road at all times.
• Maintain lot safety and cleanliness in compliance with OSHA standards.
