ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Junior Interior Soft Trim Engineer to support the design, development, and release of interior soft trim components for vehicle programs. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of automotive interior engineering experience and a basic understanding of soft trim materials and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 1-3 years automotive engineering experience, preferably with interior components.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models.
• Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of automotive interior soft trim components from concept through production.
• Review drawings, 3D models, specifications, and design requirements.
• Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, and Supplier Engineering teams.
• Support vehicle builds and prototype tests; assist with design reviews and validation activities.
