Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering required.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain analytical instrumentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others.
Responsibilities
- Analyze automotive fluids (engine oils, transmission fluids).
- Learn and perform fluid testing using specialized lab equipment (elemental analysis, TAN, viscosity, fuel dilution, oxidation/nitration).
- Analyze tailpipe emission compounds via HPLC.
- Possibly expand to failure analysis of components for root-cause investigations.
