Job summary

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers. You will learn to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service, with training provided and no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; automotive training is a plus.
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, and filter replacements.
• Train with mid- and senior-level technicians to learn additional services.
• Provide clear communication and guest service for vehicle owners.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain adherence to company policies on vehicle care and safety.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting and handling tires and wheels.
