Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers. You will learn to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to review, analyze and interpret information; identify problems and make decisions.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform basic automotive services: mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, filters replacements.
• Train with mid and senior automotive technicians to learn additional services.
• Demonstrate strong guest service with clear communication and vehicle feedback.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations and maintain safety policies.
• Perform manual tasks including lifting, standing, bending and squatting as part of daily duties.
