Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician to learn hands-on in one of its Auto Service centers. You will perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service and will be trained in any skills required.

You will gain experience mounting/balancing tires, performing oil changes, and other preventative maintenance, with a training-focused environment, safety standards, and potential for career growth in Goodyear’s optimized service system.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services like mounting and balancing tires.
• Perform oil changes, filters replacements, and other preventative maintenance tasks.
• Train with mid and senior level technicians to learn additional services.
• Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain adherence to company vehicle care and operation policies.
