Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an Entry Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in our Auto Service centers. You will learn to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or previous formal automotive training.

Responsibilities

Mount and balance tires, perform oil changes, and replace filters.
Learn additional automotive services with guidance from mid and senior technicians.
Provide excellent guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
