Team Car Care dba Jiffy Lube in Matteson, IL is hiring a General Service Technician (GST) for an entry-level role. You’ll service guest vehicles, learn our training program, and gain certification across offered services to build a solid automotive foundation.

Qualifications

• 3+ months of customer-facing experience required.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating manuals.
• Excellent communication with guests and teammates.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on-time guest care.
• Provide clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Keep the service center clean and presentable.
• Mentor junior and mid-level technicians.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and fluid checks.
• Document work on repair orders.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
• Perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for long periods.
