Jiffy Lube International in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a General Service Technician to service guest vehicles and deliver an outstanding experience. You will receive comprehensive training, certification, and opportunities for advancement through Team Car Care.

Entry‑level position with a focus on safety, teamwork, and quality service. Must be 18+, with customer facing experience preferred. Tools are provided; benefits include 401K matching and biweekly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, including clear communication about guest vehicles
• Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
• Check and communicate oil levels to teammates
• Ensure proper tire pressure for inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspections and document work performed
• Report safety issues to management and follow policy
• Perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varying temperatures
