Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a General Service Technician. This entry-level role performs essential vehicle maintenance and oil changes, tire services, and Digital Vehicle Inspections while learning from seasoned technicians and store leaders.

You’ll work a flexible schedule, including weekends, with paid training, health benefits, and opportunities to grow toward higher technician roles within the Sun Auto network.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and safety-focused.
• Willingness to learn foundational shop skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and store processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technicians and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services: mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repair orders accurately.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings through proper channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable under supervision.
• Keep shop, customer areas, and restrooms clean and organized.
• Transport customers and parts as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Work with coaching and ongoing training to grow.
