Jiffy Lube is hiring a General Service Technician in Redmond, WA. This entry-level role focuses on servicing guests' vehicles with a strong emphasis on quality and guest experience.

The company offers paid uniforms, a training program to certify you across services, and opportunities for advancement. The position requires at least 3 months of customer-facing experience, a willingness to work in varying conditions, and a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Previous experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Effective communication with guests and teammates
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, dependable and a team player
• Demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures and make sound decisions
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending/squatting
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and loud environments including around exhaust fumes
• Flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays
• Commitment to safety protocols and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on-time, accurate guest care
• Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
• Maintain a clean and presentable service center
• Guide and mentor junior technicians
• Check oil levels and communicate with teammates
• Ensure proper tire pressure and inflation
• Inspect and refill fluids as needed
• Complete vehicle inspections and service orders
• Install oil drain plugs and filters
• Clean and lubricate fittings
• Document all work on the repair order
• Report safety issues to management
• Adhere to all vehicle care policies
• Perform manual tasks including heavy lifting and long standing
