Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in El Cajon, CA is seeking an entry-level General Service Technician to support the shop by performing essential vehicle maintenance, tire services, and inspections while learning foundational skills.

You'll work with experienced technicians and store leaders, handle oil changes, tire services, and basic maintenance, and grow toward more advanced technician roles in a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Reliable and safety-focused with mechanical interest.
• Ability to follow procedures and work with a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repair orders.
• Identify safety issues and report through proper channels.
• Maintain a clean shop and assist with parts transport.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; participate in training.
