Discount Tire & Service Centers in California is seeking an entry-level General Service Technician to gain hands-on automotive skills. This role offers growth from an entry position to a certified automotive technician track.

The ideal candidate will work with experienced technicians to perform tire servicing, oil changes, brake and suspension tasks, and wheel alignments as part of a comprehensive service team.

Qualificações

• Experience in mounting, dismounting, and balancing Passenger and Light Truck tires, including low profile wheels.
• Experience in replacing TPMS sensors.
• Experience in lifting vehicles using hoists, floor jacks, jack stands, etc.
• Experience in changing oils on a wide variety of vehicles with a double-check system.
• Experience in alignments.
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge of brakes and suspension systems.
• Experience changing brakes, shocks, and suspension components.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in tire and wheel service, including mounting and balancing under supervision.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and brake inspection.
• Support alignment and suspension work as needed.
