Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and inventory processes, with opportunities for part- or full-time hours.

You will assist DIY customers, perform battery and wiper services, and maintain product standards while supporting inventory and safety procedures. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math accurately for mixed units and pricing.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone.
• Meet personal sales goals and help the store achieve its targets.
• Offer DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installation.
• Maintain store inventory, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers when needed.
