You will take statements, assess coverage, and help settle claims while maintaining strong customer service. Responsibilities include intake, investigation, valuation, exposure establishment, and timely settlement, with an emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Must obtain and maintain state required licensing, where applicable.
• Initiative, sound judgement, and discretion.
• Time management skills ensuring deadlines are met for claim resolution.
• Analytical skills to evaluate claim information, assess damages, and make informed decisions regarding liability and settlement amounts.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders.
• Excellent customer service skills to assist customers with inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Handle intake, investigation, valuation, exposure establishment and settlement of assigned auto claims within monetary authority.
• Take statements from insureds, claimants and witnesses to investigate losses.
• Reserve exposures in a timely and accurate manner.
• Deliver Best in Class Customer Service to all Kemper customers.
