Job summary

Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado, AR, is seeking a full-time Entry Level Assistant Golf Professional to join our team under Troon guidance. Grow with two PGA Professionals and prepare for advancement as a Head Golf Professional over the next 2–3 years.

You will receive mentorship, training in teaching and club repair, and exposure to event planning, shop operations, and member engagement. This is a hands-on role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in golf operations or hospitality.
• Ability to help plan and run golf events and tournaments.
• Experience assisting with merchandise, inventory, and shop operations.
• Basic playing ability and willingness to learn teaching and club repair.
• Strong communication and member engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members and guests at all times.
• Assist with daily golf shop operations, including opening/closing duties.
• Support outside operations with 2–3 shifts per week (bag drop, cart setup).
• Assist in planning and executing golf tournaments and club events.
• Participate in merchandise operations including ordering, receiving, displaying, and inventory control.
• Engage with members through regular play and relationship building.
• Receive mentorship and training in teaching and club repair.
• Learn and utilize Gallus Golf tournament software.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Must have some level of golf playing ability.

Summary

We are looking for an Assistant Golf Professional who’s looking to grow into a Head Golf Professional at our facility in the next 2-3 years. You will be trained and mentored by two PGA Professionals, who combined, have 40 years’ experience in Golf Operations. Schedule

• 5-day work weeks in the off-season
• Up to 6-day work weeks during the peak season (based on club schedule)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members and guests at all times
• Assist with daily golf shop operations, including opening/closing duties
• Support outside operations with 2–3 shifts per week (bag drop, cart setup, etc.)
• Assist in the planning and execution of golf tournaments and club events
• Participate in merchandise operations including ordering, receiving, displaying, and inventory control
• Engage with members through regular play and fostering relationships
• Receive mentorship and training in teaching and club repair (gripping, re-shafting, etc.)
• Learn and utilize Gallus Golf tournament software
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
• Must have some level of golf playing ability
