Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials to the professional market, is seeking an entry-level Assembler to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs on the production line. You will perform repetitive assembly operations and may work at different stations as models change.

No formal education or experience is required, though prior carpentry experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• There are no requirements in terms of education or experience.
• Prior carpentry experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Cuts products to specific measurements as needed.
• Removes defective products as needed.
• Tends machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Works at different workstations as production needs require.
• Works in environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced.
• Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
