Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Assembler to perform repetitive assembly tasks on an on-site production line. You will place parts, fasten components, and cut products to specified measurements to support mass production of windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs.

No formal education or experience is required, and prior carpentry experience is helpful. Overtime may be involved, with duties expanding to different workstations as production changes.

Responsibilities

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Cuts products to specific measurements as needed.
• Removes defective products as needed.
• Tends machines to perform fastening operations on the assembly line.
• Works at different workstations as production needs require.
