Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, is seeking an entry-level Assembler. You will perform repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and other components. No formal education or experience is required, though prior carpentry experience is helpful.

Overtime may be involved, with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will tend machines, measure and cut products to specified dimensions, and assemble parts at various stations as production

• Prior carpentry experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Place parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolt,clip,screw,cement, or fasten parts together.
• Cut products to specific measurements.
• Remove defective products as needed.
• Tend machines to perform fastening operations on the assembly line.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require.
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment per safety procedures.
