Job summary

Builders FirstSource is hiring an entry-level Assembler for our Oklahoma City Millwork facility to mass-produce windows, doors, trusses, panels and stairs. You will assemble parts, operate basic equipment, and follow safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

No formal education or experience is required, though prior carpentry can help. You will read simple instructions, measure and cut parts, and work at multiple stations with occasional overtime. BFS offers stability and growth.

Qualifications

• No formal education or experience required.
• Prior carpentry experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Cut products to specific measurements as needed.
• Removes defective products as needed.
• Tends machines to perform fastening operations on the assembly line.
• Works at different workstations as production needs require.
• Maintains safety procedures and cleans work areas.
