Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an entry-level Assembler in Orlando, FL to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs by performing repetitive assembly operations.

No formal education or experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and lift and move heavy objects as needed in a loud, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• There are no requirements in terms of education or experience.
• Prior carpentry experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Cuts products to specific measurements as needed.
• Removes defective products as needed.
• Tends machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Works at different workstations as production needs require.
• Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
