Job summary

SPX Technologies in Tilton, NH is seeking a Production Assembler I for aerospace/aviation assembly. You will build and test assemblies, follow CAD and SOP instructions, and support engineering with prototype work while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have electromechanical assembly experience, soldering, drilling, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. SAP experience is a plus; strong computer skills required.

Qualifications

• Prior electromechanical assembly experience required.
• Familiar with soldering, drilling and AC/DC currents.
• Ability to read and carefully follow instructions.
• Experience in a production environment and teamwork skills.
• SAP experience is a plus; strong computer skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test production for aviation with emphasis on quality, safety and on-time delivery.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain a safety-first culture.
• Prepare assemblies per technical work instructions, CAD drawings and SOPs.
• Assist engineering with prototypes and resolving assembly issues.
• Document assemblies using production and quality forms.
• Test finished products for proper operation and transfer to Quality Control.
• Maintain tools and workspace; support calibration activities as needed.
