Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler for Elevator Components in Hanover, PA, on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM). The role involves assembling mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical parts, using SAP data and engineering drawings, and ensuring quality and productivity standards.

You'll read blueprints, perform tape measurements, and work in a fully onsite production environment, with safety and documentation as priorities.

Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to accurately read tape measurements.
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Picking, packing, and kitting experience.
• Ability to follow manufacturing documentation and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long durations.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support assembly operations through picking, packing, and kitting activities.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Shift: 1st Shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Key Responsibilities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
