Job description

About the Opportunity:

• Job Title: Entry Level Assembler
• Pay Rate Range: $18/Hour
• Location: Minnetonka, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift, M-Th, 6am - 3pm & Fri 6am - 10am, O/T is optional.
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent industrial experience preferred
2. 1 to 2 years’ experience in assembly preferred
3. 1 to 2 years’ experience in electrical assembly desired
4. Basic computer skills (keyboard and mouse)
5. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
6. Medical device experience preferred
7. Strong English speaking and reading skills required
8. Manufacturing experience, quality, mechanical inspection tools, safety management, and light machinery operation skills
9. Ability to stand for long durations
10. Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Cut materials according to specifications using blades, scissors, or electric knives
2. Fold or fit materials like cloth, foam, and plastic for machine sewing
3. Operate presses, fixtures, and sealing machines to assemble products
4. Study assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; gather parts and tools
5. Position parts using templates or measurements
6. Assemble components, ensuring correct fit and fastening
7. Assemble electrical components and test functionality
8. Verify specifications via measurements and testing
9. Collaborate with supervisor to resolve assembly issues
10. Maintain a safe and clean work environment
11. Complete production and quality documentation
12. Assist with material handling and shipping preparations
