Job summary

Amerex Group LLC is seeking an Assistant Production Coordinator to support the production team from development handoff through final delivery. This entry-level role offers a foundation in apparel production, working with the Senior Production Manager to ensure on-time delivery of quality goods across product categories.

The role involves tracking production stages, updating calendars, coordinating with overseas factories, and maintaining tech packs and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related field a plus.
• 0–2 years of experience; internship in apparel production, sourcing, or merchandising preferred.
• Basic understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and apparel production processes a plus.
• PLM and ERP system experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track production stages from pre-production through final delivery (WIP, in-transit, and completed orders).
• Maintain and update calendars to support adherence to key milestones.
• Monitor delivery schedules and flag risks to on-time shipment.
• Prepare production status updates and WIP reports.
• Create and send order detail sheets to Dhaka and Shanghai offices in Excel format.
