Job summary

A leading fashion company in New York is hiring a Production Assistant to support product development and production from concept to delivery. You will work with Design, Fabric, Merchandising, Sourcing and vendors to track samples, timelines, costing and orders.

Ideal candidate has 1+ year apparel experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating across teams. Bachelor’s preferred; Atlrium Care Package benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in apparel, fashion, production, or merchandising.
• Experience with PLM or similar Product Lifecycle Management system.
• Strong Excel and computer skills.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Support development and production of new apparel styles from concept through production.
• Communicate with internal teams and external vendors regarding style development, production, and delivery.
• Track fabric, trim, wash development, samples, and approvals to ensure timelines.
• Monitor production status and identify potential delivery risks.
• Prepare and send product information and packages to vendors and track deliveries.
• Maintain and organize costing, style, and production records.
• Support the purchase order process and coordinate with Merchandising and Production teams.
• Assist with production planning, sourcing, and delivery.
• Prepare agendas and participate in cross-functional meetings.
• Communicate updates and follow up with relevant teams to keep projects on track.
