Job summary

Eurofins Agroscience Services in Easton, MD, seeks an entry-level Assistant Scientist to join our Chemistry team. This position offers training and hands-on experience with analytical methods, LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, and GC-MS/MS. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with overtime as needed. Expect documentation, data management, and collaboration in GLP-guided studies within a modern facility and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required or demonstrated competence.
• Experience in a laboratory setting is required.
• Ability to follow instructions and comply with company policies.
• Excellent attention to detail and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Use diverse analytical methods for investigation of test substances
• Perform routine laboratory tasks and prepare solutions and buffers
• Operate analytical instruments (LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, GC-MS/MS) and assist with setup
• Perform sample extraction and cleanup (SPE, QuEChERS)
• Review data entries and calculations; maintain notebooks and logs
• Contribute to data summaries and draft reports
